This resin-enhanced wax offers superior abrasion resistance when compared to conventional wax products. The 2100 ribbon provides excellent print quality on normal and rotated bar codes on coated and uncoated labels and tags, as well as many matt synthetic materials. Its low printhead energy requirements for image transfer make it the ideal choice for extremely high-speed print up to 305mm/sec (12ips). Typical applications for this ribbon grade include shipping and warehouse labelling, as well as applications where the barcode is repeatedly scanned.
