Toshiba APLEX4 is an uutomatic label printing and application system that combines high performance and cost effectiveness. Suitable for a wide variety of industrial and manufacturing based environments due to its design, performance, and low cost of ownership.
Toshiba Aplex Print and Apply System Specs:
- Speed: Can label up to 30 items a minute
- Apply Type: Pressure Apply or Tamp Blow Apply (ideally for moving or fragile items, requires proximity sensor)
- Apply Location: Top apply or Side Apply set up available
- Min label size: 25x25mm
- Max label size: 148x200mm (Requires Aplex6 conversion kit)
- Applicator arm stroke length: 250mm once clear of the printer (400mm in total)
- Print modes: Dynamic (unique print job each time) or Reprint (send one print job which repeats indefinitely)

- Proximity Sensor: Moves label pad to 5mm of item so the label can be tamp blown on without making contact.
- Hand Detector: Stops applicator arm if obstruction or operators hand is below he label pad – safety feature
- Light Indicator: Shows system status (Green, Amber, Red) Can be seen from a distance.
- Support Column: Free standing mount for the Aplex which can be fixed in multiple positions and orientations.
- Aplex In/Out Programable: Allows for bi-directional communication with other automated systems such as robots or conveyors.
- Vacuum Sensor: Detects label is on pad ready to apply. If the label is missing this will trigger red on light indicator
- Horizontal position adjuster: Crank moves Aplex horizontally on support column (no need to adjust any bolts)

The APLEX4 is designed for use alongside the B-EX4T series of industrial printers, to enable simple integration into any production line. This truly ‘plug and play’ solution can handle production levels of up to 30 labels per minute and is available in resolutions of 200, 300 and 600dpi.The APLEX4 is designed to support all types of industrial environments, adapting easily to existing production lines.
